Scott Merritt
Scott Merritt is a founder of Honest Fix and brings over 30 years of hands-on HVAC experience to the company. As a manager and lead trainer, Scott oversees technical standards, technician development, and system quality across all service and installation work. Prior to launching Honest Fix, Scott owned and operated a large HVAC company in another market, where he worked closely with the other three Honest Fix founders. That experience laid the foundation for the systems, standards, and values now built into Honest Fix. Scott has also led and worked with nationally recognized programs including Rheem Pro Partner, Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, and Trane Comfort Specialist, and serves as the State-Licensed HVAC Holder for Honest Fix, ensuring all work meets or exceeds Ohio code and manufacturer requirements.
